Here you can get acquainted with the eventual outcome of the media service work on "Novorossiysk Rally of Russia 2009". The statistics is actual up to October 18th, 2009.

Among the tasks of the Media Service was providing comfortable conditions for the work of journalists during the race. All journalists who attended the event and visited the press-centre, highly praised the level of its organisation. Another task was publishing official news and information in real time on the event's web-site www.rally-russia.com. The web-site operated in two language versions (Russian and English), and a daily newsletter with press-releases was organaised for the interested Media (both national and foreign, hence also in two languages).

The advertising campaign of "Novorossiysk Rally of Russia 2009" was based on attracting spectators to the ceremonial start. Overall 80 billboards were spread in Novorossiysk. A 15-seconds pre-event video, cut specially for the rally, was broadcasted in a big screen on the main street of Novorossiysk, and at the central crossroads of the region's capital Krasnodar as well, thanks to cooperation with local magazine "The First". 

 

According to police estimations, around 2-3 thousand people gathered at the ceremonial start.

Accredited at the event: 40 journalists, including: 7 team medis services, 8 print media, 6 TV programmes and 7 e-sources and independent photographers. The following cities were represented: Moscow, Krasnodar, Saint-Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Togliatti.

 

TV coverage: 60 minutes before the race start (live coverage on "Channel 33" of Novorossiysk). Some more programmes are also scheduled for the nearest future: "MotorShow" programme (THT, Perm), "Special Stage" (RTR-Sport, Moscow). The official video by "Avtomania", available on our web-site, has been viewed by more than 750 people.

As of October 18th, more than 60 articles about the event (not taking in account the official web-site), 1 video and around 1000 photographs were published in Internet. It must be mentioned that biggest interest to the competition was paid by foreign e-media from Italy, Estonia, Ukraine, Poland and especially Romania. The amount of foreign e-media sufficiently exceeds the quanity of articles, published in Russia (49 against 11).
