The sportsmsen shared with us their impressions after the finish of "Novorossiysk Rally of Russia 2009".

#50 (Gubzhokov): Very good impressions, if not for the car's failture due to the bad road conditions. The last stage was especially rough, many crews retired, but we made it through! 

#52 (Chernositov): The last stage was a big pleasure!

#60 (Kupriyanov): We were driving to the finish. There were less stones today, and the road was better than yesterday.

#63 (Stepanov): Very dusty. In open spaces there's at least some wind to blow the dust away, but in the forest visibility is very bad, like in milk. A lot of stones. We remembered the race for the difficult Gaiduk and Semigorie stages. 

#56 (Bukreev): It's the best race we've driven for the last 5 years! Most of all we liked the route's diversity. There can be both fast and slow parts in one stage, so there's no time to relax.

#57 (Savenko): It was more fun today, the stages were faster and softer on cars at the same time. SS7 was very tricky! We liked the route very much, and want to return here next year.

#58 (Pogostina, Belyaev's co-driver): We took care of the car. The stages were different compared to Friday, and they were easier to drive. It's my first visit to Novorossiysk, and at the beginniing it was quite scary to drive: a cliff from one side, a ravine from another! But today I got used to it.

#59 (Alekseev): We had a good drive.

#64 (Chernov): The race was great! Everything was perfect, I liked it a lot. Next year we'll devinitely come back. Big thanks to the organisers for such a good sport event!

#11 (Tempestini): I'm very happy! I've always felt good in Russia, and I have a lot of friends here. But today is a special day for me - I won the East European Rally Cup, and it feels just great! 

#14 (Nebogatikov): We drove carefully to make it to the finish. 

#5 (Storchak): I'm very happy, it's a big relief! I'm the Russian Champion!!! It was very difficult to drive cautiously.

#26 (Rogov): We were driving carefully.

#16 (Broslavskiy): I didn't like one part on the Gudzeviy's stage, but otherwise it was a perfect stage. Markoth was also interesting, and difficult as well. As for results, I was driving a new car, with a new co-driver, so we managed to do well.

#15 (Makarov): Today was a very good day! We didn't have any pressure, and so managed to show such good results. We got a lot of pleasure on this race.

#20 (Kilunin): The last stage was very tricky, we were very careful, but still somehow pucntured a tyre.

#25 (Voronov): We were making it to the finish.

#6 (Naryshkin): Everything was perfect. One time we were disturbed by spectators, but overall we're satisfied.

#29 (Gorchakov): Very rough, and we took it easy. We had brake problems. Stopped on the last stage because of Kabanov's fire.

#24 (Bakulin): The car worked perfectly today, and we showed our goodl pace.

#27 (Bragin): Caught up with Milov's car, lost our 1st place. It was impossible to drive in his dust.

#7 (Ignatov): We liked "Markoth" most of all, there're fast and difficult places, but they all meet the whole concept of the rally. We were careful. We want to thank our mechanics without whom we would have never managed it.

#33 (Geraschenko): We wanted to get fun from driving, but it didn't work out as SS9 was stopped.

#31 (Milov): Only 5 out of 10 stages did we manage to drive like we wanted to. Overall, we were driving for own pleasure.

#22 (Borisenko): We're preparing to the Tuapse rally. We expected "Novorossiysk" to be more difficult, so we enjoyed the race. And the weather was good.

#39 (Medvedev): We're very glad, because we took 2nd place in the Logan Cup!
