Quotes after the evening loop of stages.
Rally of RussiaHere you read about the sportsmen's impressions after the second loop of stages of Day1 of "Novorossiysk Rally of Russia 2009".

#№4 (Aksakov): We increased our pace, got used to the roads. On "Semigorje" the left driveshaft broke, that's why we couldn't show a good result".

#5 (Storchak): I was driving much faster, we spinned in a "Left-three" turn and lost around 10-15 seconds.

#8 (Kucher): SS5 was awful, a lot of jumps and crests, we tried to take care of the car.

#11 (Tempestini): We drove fast, but not too much as we were trying to preserve the car. We must think strategically, and the most important thing for us is to win the East European Rally Cup.

#19 (Vorkachev): We wanted to race, but it didn't turn out.

#9 (Bogomolov): We had some technical problems to fight with.

#20 (Kilunin): Made a mistake after a jump on SS4, we did better on SS5.

#27 (Bragin): It's much more fun to drive a normally-working car.

#25 (Voronov): I like it much, but a bit too rough. We didn't quite understand the signals of marshalls after the accident.

#36 (Meites): We're satisfied with our result, it's for us to lose, so tomorrow we'll drive even more carefully. I hope it will work out well.

#26 (Rogov): We got more understanding of the roads, and hence were driving more agressively and faster.

#29 (Gorchakov): No rear suspension (lost on "Markoth") and drove "Gaiduk" very slowly..

#31 (Milov): We kept the same rhythm, but were disturbed by Gorchakov's dust on "Gaiduk". Otherwise it was all Ok.

#38 (Prokopenko): We drove faster and it felt better.

#39 (Medvedev): It was difficult, but we tried to drive faster. We could show nothing against the 4wd crews.

#52 (Ten, Chernositov's co-driver): First pass wasn't very good, not it was better.

#53 (Malyarov): Despite the variable surface, almost everywhere it was in good condition.

#60 (Kupriyanov): The roads are rough, a lot of stones. It's very interesting, but causes a lot of technical problems.
